Recently, it was suggested that Google Home would soon support multiple users. Fortunately for those waiting for the feature, those rumors turned out to be true. Beginning today, Google has announced that its personal smart home speaker will support multiple users. Six different accounts, to be exact. And Google will be using a neural network running behind-the-scenes to make sure that the speaker can adjust the information provided just by recognizing the different voices in your home. So when you ask for your personal schedule, and someone else in the home asks for theirs, Google Assistant shouldn’t mix things up. The new feature is rolling out today for users in the United States. Meanwhile, Google Home owners in the United Kingdom will have to wait a bit longer, as multiple user support will roll out “in the coming months.”
